The Rug of 2020: Pulled Out From Under Me
As of yesterday, I lost every job I had lined up for 2020, whether it be theatre work, conference speaker, emcee, host and more. Every. Single. One.
Besides the panic and heartbreak that accompanies this, I’ve decided to tune into how this can be seen as an opportunity. No doubt many of these jobs can come back in the future and there is literally no better time than now to finally dive into the online portion of my business.
Additionally, with the extra time on my hands, I can be even more consistent with my spiritual wellness routine. Daily journaling, meditating, conscious breath and body work, and intuitive connection are not currently subjected to “But I don’t have time today! I have to A, B, and C!”, which is actually the time when I need those practices most.
Are you finding yourself with any extra time on your hands if you’re not commuting and staying home? Are there 15-30 minutes you can claim from that time just for yourself and your wellness? If you can, take a daily moment to tune into your heart and you will find even more alignment in your body, mind and spirit.
Sending love to you all.
